I’m the proud son of two incredible Americans. My father immigrated to the United States from Lebanon during a civil war, chasing the promise of freedom and opportunity. He worked hard every single day to build a better life for our family. My mother served 20 years at a VA hospital, caring for veterans with dedication and compassion. From them, I inherited a deep love for this country and an unshakable commitment to service.
I grew up in Garland, Texas, where I learned the values of faith, family, and hard work. I later graduated from The Ohio State University, where I competed as a student-athlete and earned the title of Ohio State Male Athlete of the Year. I also have a Master's Degree in Strategic Intelligence. I became an NCAA Champion, a two-time world champion, and an Olympic athlete at the 2012 London Games. Those experiences taught me discipline, focus, and what it means to represent something bigger than yourself.
But my greatest calling has always been service. I served as a U.S. Army soldier and intelligence officer, deploying to multiple locations across Europe and the Middle East, often operating in hostile environments to protect our nation. While stationed at Fort Huachuca, I was honored to be named Brigade Soldier of the Year—a recognition that spoke to the same grit and determination I’ve carried all my life.
Most recently, I’ve worked with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI), where I’ve helped identify and take down foreign intelligence threats and protect American service members from terrorist activity.
My journey to Congress didn’t begin in a boardroom—it began in a bunker overseas, trying to get a signal strong enough to research how to run for office. I was tired. Tired of watching young kids in the bunkers next to me—innocent, wide-eyed, and unsure of what they had truly signed up for. I knew then that service had to take a new form: not just defending our country abroad, but fighting for our people here at home.
Whether in uniform, in competition, or in the field of intelligence, I’ve always carried America with me. Now, I’m bringing that same dedication home—to fight for Texas families, defend our freedoms, and finally put America and Americans first in Congress.
